Ofsted visit

In January 2020, we received a monitoring inspection visit from Ofsted. We are very pleased to inform you that Ofsted believe that the school is taking effective action to tackle the areas requiring improvement at the last inspection in order to become good.

In terms of strengths, the report states that the inspector saw, “pupils behaving well and getting along together at break time and lunchtime” and “pupils also behaved well in the lessons” he visited. Another strength reflected in the report is the way in which senior leaders have been systematic in their approach to improving the school and the training they have provided to improve teachers’ confidence and skills in order to ensure we provide the very best educational and pastoral experience for our young people.
