A delicious lunch was thoroughly enjoyed by all at Saint Paul’s. The staff looked after their pupils well as they served them with a delicious traditional Christmas lunch at the school. Both teaching and non-teaching staff waited upon the pupils as a “thank you” for their good work and contributions this year.
The festive Christmas lunch is an annual event which is looked forward to by both the staff and pupils alike. It was a sumptuous feast and hundreds of Christmas lunches were served to hungry students and staff. It is an opportunity for all the pupils and staff to join in the fun.
The children sat down to beautifully decorated tables, with table cloths, crackers, table centre pieces, sparkly things and party hats.
“Christmas lunch time is always a fantastic time at Saint Paul’s,” explained Mrs Angie Holland from Saint Paul’s. “The Dining Hall was decorated in a festive theme and school staff waited on the tables to ensure that students had an enjoyable lunch time. It is really important to make sure that school celebrates special times in the year for students as it adds to their all-round learning experience whilst in school.”
Deputy Headteacher, Miss Tina Wilkinson, said: “The Christmas lunch is an excellent way for us to strengthen our relationships with our pupils and let them see that we really appreciate the effort they have put in this year to all school activities. It is a special time for the pupils and staff to share in celebrating Christmas.”
