Edmund the Learned Pig < < BACK

Pupils recently visited The Royal Exchange to watch "Edmund the Learned Pig", a play about an articulate pig who runs away to the circus.

The 32 Year 7 Drama students ejoyed the production which used a variety of art forms - from pupertry to music and dancing.  The play explored the themes of cultural identity and was created by two theatre companies who focus on the importance of social inclusion with people with abilities and disabilities.

Mrs Ellie Cordwell, Head of Expressive and Performing Arts said:  "This was a fantastic experience for our pupils; they really enjoyed the theatre trip - and it even gave some students their first taste of the Theatre."
