Saint Paul’s Christmas Mass < < BACK

Staff and pupils from Saint Paul’s Catholic High School joined together to celebrate Christmas with a Mass, which included traditional Christmas carols and an Advent themed liturgy, at St Anthony’s Church, Wythenshawe, Manchester.

“It was a beautiful Mass; it’s lovely to see the effort and enthusiasm of those pupils involved and for them to share such a special event with their friends and teachers.” explained Mrs Lisa Baillie, Assistant Headteacher at Saint Paul’s. “The Mass provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect and for us all to join in the prayers and the singing. It was delightful to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas all together in such a beautiful setting.”

Mrs Fiona Minshall, Head Teacher at Saint Paul’s, commented: “It brought us together as a school, all the staff and pupils joined together to reflect, pray and sing and we were able to celebrate the important meaning and messages of Christmas. The service was wonderfully uplifting and the atmosphere was magical.”
