Year 5 Sports Day < < BACK

Pupils from six local Catholic primary schools took part in a Year 5 Sport Day at Saint Paul’s. It was a fantastic day packed full of fun and sport. The Year 5s enjoyed football, table tennis, rounders and basketball. The young pupils were supervised by our amazing band of Year 8 and Year 9 Sports Leaders.

There was even a visit from Vernon Bear the Stockport County mascot.

Ms Wild said: “It was a very successful day; there was some very strong competition but the competition was eventually won by St Aidan's RC Primary School. It was great fun and everyone really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

There were nothing but positive comments from the teachers from the primary schools and all the children had a wonderful day. There were some very tired Sports Leaders by the end of the day; it was good for them to gain a little glimpse of our day to day roles in school!”
