Advent Foodbank Appeal

Saint Paul’s Advent Appeal

In keeping with our Catholic mission and remembering Jesus words “if you do it for the least of my brothers, you do it for me”, we will again this Advent season be collecting non-perishable food items for Wythenshawe Foodbank. All donations will be extremely gratefully received.

To support the Wythenshawe Foodbank, please donate non-perishable items and we will make up hampers from these.

Please give generously!

The following items are urgently requested by the Foodbank:

  • Biscuits
  • Long life juice/squash
  • Sugar
  • Rice pudding
  • custard
  • Gluten free/lactose free non-perishable items such as pasta, cereal and milk
  • Toilet rolls

Other food accepted:

Tinned rice
Pudding/Custard
Tinned fish
Biscuits
UHT milk
Long life juice/Tea/Coffee
Rice

All we are asking is that EVERY member of our school community tries to make a donation of a non perishable food item!

The Wythenshawe Foodbank have the following mission statement: “We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.”
