We are really excited to launch our class reads this term for years 7, 8 and 9.
Students have voted for their favourite books and are looking forward to reading them.
Mrs Savova, Librarian, said: “We want to celebrate reading and remind students to make reading a priority activity in their lives, We want our students to make reading a regular part of their routine . . . whether they’re reading solo or together with their classmates, parents, or friends. It is very important to instil in young people a need and desire to read. Research shows that teenagers who choose to pick up a book for pleasure are more likely to succeed in life.”
