Congratulations on receiving your secondary school place!

We are looking forward to you joining Saint Paul’s in September 2021.

Here is a welcome from our Headteacher, Mr Hren:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the family of Saint Paul’s Catholic High School. We look forward to your children joining us and working with you. Saint Paul’s serves the local community by working in partnership to provide an education of the highest quality; we celebrate diversity and are committed to the principles of inclusion and equal opportunities.

We pride ourselves on our broad, balanced and creative curriculum, which inspires and challenges children of all abilities. We look forward to building on the good practice taking place around school with reading. Literacy is a key priority for all staff at Saint Paul’s. All Key Stage 3 students are now taking part in the Accelerated Reader Programme. Getting the basics right is a key part of the formula for success. I believe that there is a clear correlation between attendance, punctuality to school in the morning and attainment. We encourage all parents and carers to ensure that their child is at school every day and on time. This makes a real difference. Ensuring students are dressed in the correct uniform is also important in ensuring the high standards and expectations we have here at Saint Paul’s Catholic High School.

I am delighted to be working together with you to help your children reach their full potential spiritually, academically, and socially. Working together in partnership with our parishes and communities, we nurture our life-affirming core values, encouraging each student’s spiritual and academic development. Our professional, experienced staff (teaching and non-teaching) aim for excellence in everything they do and strive to ensure all children reach their full potential both academically and socially.
