Year 11 Transition

Here at Saint Paul’s we provide our students with the opportunity of applying to our feeder colleges, Loreto and Xaverian (both Ofsted Outstanding providers).

We also have strong relationships with many other excellent providers of FE and apprenticeships both locally and nationwide. Throughout their time at Saint Paul’s, students will have multiple opportunities to visit  FE providers/colleges, attend workshops, road shows and seminars, with guest speakers.

Virgin Media is a large employer with an office located near our school. They are launching apprenticeship schemes for this year and to support this, they are proud to announce a local initiative to engage with schools (and school leavers) and work with the local community running a series of webinars and providing tools to help. They are especially keen to engage with our students.

They can provide the following tools for our students to access, which will support them through their career path:

Live online events and interactive webinars
A match-me-tool (aligning candidate’s skills with relevant role profiles)

Practice situational judgement tool (allowing students to have unlimited access to a mock assessment mimicking real life recruitment practices).(This will be live in a few weeks)

Here is a flyer with more information for our students which has the links to the above – click Virgin Media Apprenticeships – Flyer
