The Year 11 Assessment Weeks start on 20th November and will finish on 1st December.
These will be formal mock exams for English and Maths, other subjects will be in-class assessments to give students and teachers valuable information about current levels of performance, students’ strengths and those areas that they still need to develop in order to fulfil their potential.
With regard to preparation, pupils are given clear guidance by their subject teachers on revision techniques. Subject content is broken down into manageable topics and tested at regular intervals to monitor progress and to inform further revision needs.
