The Girls’ football teams at St Paul’s are impressive and are playing extremely well . The teams have played exceptionally in the Manchester Cup competitions. The Year 7 team is in the semi finals of the Manchester Cup, the Year 10 team is in the quarter finals and the Year 11 is in the semi finals as well.
Mr Mawn commented: “I am delighted with the success of the Girls’ football teams. We have never been in such a strong position before and it is a real credit to the staff and pupils for improving so much over the last year. A lot of time and effort has gone into girls’ football. Hopefully we can get a trophy and some girls’ teams on ‘the wall’ within PE!!”
