The Being a Parent peer led parenting support groups are starting at Sale Road Children’s Centre on 22 January (Wednesdays) and Crossacres Family Hub on 25 January (Fridays). The programme is a universal group aimed to support parents for children between the age of 1 and 3 yrs 11 months. This will be particularly suitable for first time or anxious parents or any parent that are feeling isolated. The first term it ran was incredibly successful and there was a real shift in improvement in self-esteem and parenting relationships across all the attendees.
The sessions are run over 8 weeks, with a half term break, from 10am to 12pm. A creche and refreshments are provided. You can self register by calling or texting the number on the flyer.
