As part of this year’s Harvest Appeal, the Youth SVP group at Saint Paul’s Catholic High School led a donation drive in support of the Wythenshawe Food Bank. They asked students, staff, and families to contribute non-perishable food items to help support local families facing hardship.
The response was truly uplifting, reflecting the compassion and generosity of our school community. Every donation made a meaningful impact, helping to bring support to those in need.

Mrs Doran expressed her gratitude, saying:
“We were deeply moved by the kindness shown by everyone who contributed. Our sincere thanks go to our students and their families for their generosity—these donations will make a real and lasting difference to the lives of people in our local community.”
The Wythenshawe Food Bank, part of the Trussell Trust network, provides three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in crisis. Their mission is simple yet powerful: “We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry.”
Thank you to everyone who supported the appeal. Your kindness and compassion continue to be a shining example of our school’s values in action.
