We are very keen to promote a love of reading at Saint Paul’s. The Bookbuzz programme is designed to encourage a joy of reading and a love of books.
A multitude of fascinating books from The Book Trust’s Bookbuzz project have been delivered to school. Each Year 7 student will receive a free book to take home and keep.
“At Saint Paul’s we recognise the importance of instilling a love of reading in every student. We like to remind students and staff of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their lives,” explained Mrs Savova, Librarian. “We want people to make reading a regular part of their routine whether they’re reading solo or together with their classmates, parents, or friends. We want to help students to develop a life-long love of reading. It is very important to instil in young people a need and desire to read.”
