Congratulations to Ethan from Year 8 and Sean from Year 7 who are very keen and avid readers. They have both been doing a great job of raising the profile of reading for pleasure around school and are constantly recommending books to their classmates and to our school library.
Ethan has read an amazing 1,526,094 words and Sean had read a fantastic1,026,536 words – we would like to congratulate them and thank them for their wonderful contribution to our reading community.
At Saint Paul’s, we want to encourage our students to make reading a regular part of their routine whether they’re reading solo or together with their classmates, parents, or friends. We want to help them to develop a life-long love of reading. We believe that it is very important to instil in young people a need and desire to read.
