A group of pupils visited Ewood Park on Sunday to watch Blackburn Rovers Ladies beat Southampton Women in the FA Women’s Championship.
Mrs Holmes, who accompanied the trip, commented: “We took a group to watch our Teaching Assistant, Miss Brooks, play for Blackburn Rovers against Southhampton at Ewood Park. The group included girls from the Year 7 football team who loved having the opportunity to see professional women’s football live. We had a brilliant day out and Blackburn won 2-1! ”
