We were delighted to virtually welcome a survivor of The Holocaust to Saint Paul’s to speak to our Year 7 pupils about her experiences.
The pupils are currently studying The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and so the event was of particular interest to them.
Survivor testimony forms a key component of effective Holocaust education by putting a human face to history and enabling students to explore its lessons in depth.
