Ten Year 10 students visited the University of Manchester as part of the Manchester University Insight Programme. They worked alongside students from East Manchester Academy and Saint Cuthbert’s in Rochdale.
We were so proud of how our students conducted themselves and engaged in the various community projects. When working with students from the other schools, they put themselves forward to present.
The students had a tour of the university with the University of Manchester students around the main campus on Oxford Road.
The students all wrote poems about their project and Manchester. The university was so impressed with the poems that they are planning to publish them on the university’s website.
