We were very excited and incredibly proud to award our first ever student Oracy Champions with their pin badges and to explain their roles and responsibilities for the year ahead!
Each Oracy Champions has been allocated a Year 7 form and the students have been joining these forms for PHSE sessions every Wednesday to demonstrate active listening and Talk Tactics in action!
We are also very hopeful that they will be participants and perhaps even judges in future oracy events!
All eight students from Year 10 were selected by external experts following on from their brilliant contributions in the Talk About Communication workshops.
