Staff and students are working hard to transform the school garden into a vibrant, welcoming space in time for spring. This shared effort is more than just planting seeds—it’s about creating a sensory-rich environment that fosters social interaction, hands-on learning and a deeper connection with nature.
The garden is designed to support the physical and mental well-being of everyone in the school community, offering a space to relax, recharge and enjoy the outdoors.

Students have embraced this project with enthusiasm and dedication. Their hard work is already visible in the progress made so far and they are excited to see the garden continue to grow into a space that everyone can share and take pride in.
The garden encourages outdoor activity, promotes healthy habits, and teaches lifelong gardening skills. As students nurture plants, they also cultivate essential life skills—communication, teamwork, and emotional expression—that will serve them well in school and beyond.

Mrs Hand commented: “Spring is just around the corner and, with the help of our students, it comes with the promise of a flourishing garden that reflects the spirit of collaboration and care at Saint Paul’s.”
