At Saint Paul’s Catholic High School, we take litter very seriously within school and have had a big drive to encourage our students to take responsibility for their own litter.

This extended to a community initiate with our Year 7, 8 and 9 Student Ambassadors embarking on a litter pick in the local area with Mr Casey, Ms McKeeney and Barney from Wythenshawe Waste Warriors.
Mrs Delaney, Assistant Headteacher, explained: “As respect is a big part of the Saint Paul’s spirit, we are hoping that events like this will instil a deep respect for our wider community in our students.”
“We were delighted by the very positive feedback which we received from local residents, several residents even went to the trouble of phoning and e mailing the school to say how pleased they were with this project and how polite and friendly our students were!” added Mr Casey, Pastoral Assistant.
“It is good to raise awareness and to be able to discuss the impact of littering to our students who are passionate about taking care of our environment,” added Mr Whiteside, Headteacher.
