Saint Paul’s Welcomes New Head Boy and Head Girl

Saint Paul’s is proud to announce the appointment of its new Head Boy, Sean, and Head Girl, Emma. These prestigious roles are awarded following a rigorous selection and interview process, reflecting the high standards and values upheld by the school.

As Head Boy and Head Girl, Sean and Emma will serve as ambassadors for the school, representing Saint Paul’s at a wide range of events both within the school and in the wider community. They will play a key role in maintaining the school’s ethos and high expectations.

The roles are more than symbolic—they are a recognition of leadership, responsibility, and service. Sean and Emma will be visible figures around the school, setting an example through their conduct and commitment to the school’s five core values: service, respect, stewardship, compassion, and love.

“Being chosen as Head Boy is a real honour,” said Sean. “I’m looking forward to working with the prefect team and helping to make a positive difference in school life.”

Emma added, “It means a lot to be trusted with this role. I want to be someone younger students can look up to and feel supported by.”

Mr Wilson, Year 11 Progress Leader, emphasised the significance of the roles:

“Becoming Head Boy or Head Girl is a milestone in a student’s personal development. We look for individuals who are confident, articulate, and able to inspire others. Sean and Emma stood out for their maturity, leadership, and ability to connect with both students and staff.”

Headteacher Mr Whiteside also expressed his confidence in the new appointments:

“We invest a great deal of time in selecting and preparing our Head Boy and Head Girl because they are the face of our school. Sean and Emma have consistently demonstrated the qualities we value—thoughtfulness, responsibility, and initiative. I have no doubt they will be outstanding ambassadors for Saint Paul’s.”

The entire school community congratulates Sean and Emma on their appointments and looks forward to the positive impact they will make in the year ahead.
