For Parents/Carers of Year 10 and Year 11 students
As a school, we are continuously exploring new avenues to help raise pupils’ aspirations and encourage them to engage fully with their studies, both in school and at home, in order to maximise their chances of securing the best possible outcomes in their GCSEs and their future beyond St Paul’s. Part of this involves increasing pupil ownership of the learning process, making them more independent, resilient and active participants and fostering a growth ‘can-do’ mindset where their effort counts for everything. Another integral part involves purposeful engagement from parents and carers in supporting students on their journey through high school and we understand how difficult this can be.
We have recently partnered with the award-winning Elevate Education to support our pupils in developing independent learning and revision strategies as they prepare for their GCSE examinations. This means you now have free access to their fortnightly parental webinars aimed at coaching parents in how you can support your child through their studies.
