The Year 9 and Year 10 Assessment Weeks started on 30th October and will finish on 10 November.
These in-class assessments give students and teachers valuable information about current levels of performance, students’ strengths and those areas that they still need to develop in order to fulfil their potential.
With regard to preparation, pupils are given clear guidance by their subject teachers on revision techniques. Subject content is broken down into manageable topics and tested at regular intervals to monitor progress and to inform further revision needs.
