12 of our Year 9 pupils took part in a progressive masculinity workshop.
The aims of the Pupil Workshop Program were :
• To challenge existing misconceptions of masculinity within our pupils.
• To construct a more progressive, value-based model of masculinity
• To raise the self-esteem, emotional intelligence and oracy of the pupils involved, encouraging aspirational goals.
• To tap into our pupils’ leadership potential, empowering them to be the drivers for positive change within the school.
The feedback from the trainers was extremely positive “They were a fantastic group, very open and honest, and we’ve really enjoyed working with them over the last two days. The boys were a credit to the school and one of the best groups we have had!”
