At Saint Paul’s, we are keen to promote the importance and joy of reading, and, with this in mind, a group of Year 8 pupils were invited to attend a visit to The Forum Library in Wythenshawe.
The trip included a tour of the library, a meeting with the librarian, the gift of a library card and to opportunity to take some books from the library to read at home.
Mrs Savova said: “The aim of the library trip was to further develop an understanding of the pleasure of reading and how it can support learning and to help students in selecting books they will enjoy.”
