School Library Revamp

“Libraries remind us that truth isn’t about who yells the loudest, but who has the right information…And so the moment we persuade a child, any child, to cross that threshold into a library, we’ve changed their lives forever, and for the better. This is an enormous force for good.”
Barack Obama

We are delighted to introduce our recently revamped school library which is a key resource in supporting the delivery of the curriculum at Saint Paul’s and plays a central role in helping pupils gain the knowledge, skills and attributes needed for learning, life and work.

Our school library offers a special and unique experience for pupils, one that aims not only to enrich reading for pleasure and enhance information literacy skills but also, more importantly, develop the well-being and happiness of the child.

We have over 4,800 resources stocked in the library which are available to borrow. This includes over 2,200 fiction titles that cater for every taste and reading level. We are particularly proud of our Information/Non-Fiction resources that can assist students in not only extending their knowledge of curriculum subject areas, but also help them learn about the wider world in which they live.

The Library is open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Pupils are actively encouraged to use the Library throughout the school day, for both pleasure and research.
