The Performing Arts Ambassadors

The Performing Arts Ambassadors play an important role in shaping the creative life of the school. As enthusiastic representatives of the Performing Arts department, they meet every Tuesday at breaktime and they help to build a positive, inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to explore music, drama and dance.

Their involvement in extra‑curricular clubs is central to the role. Ambassadors attend regularly, support staff and help create a welcoming atmosphere for students of all abilities. They also take an active part in the planning and leading of these clubs, developing leadership skills.

In lessons, Performing Arts Ambassadors act as role models, demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment and positive behaviour.

Every half term, ambassadors meet to discuss upcoming events and activities. These meetings give students the opportunity to contribute ideas, help shape future plans and play a meaningful part in the development of Performing Arts within the school.

Ambassadors also support major events such as whole‑school productions, offering help backstage, during rehearsals, or with general organisation to ensure performances run smoothly. They assist staff on trips and visits too, providing support for younger students.
