World Mental Health Day 2025 at Saint Paul’s

Saint Paul’s was proud to support World Mental Health Day 2025, joining the global conversation around mental wellbeing and the importance of looking after ourselves and each other.

To mark the occasion, we shared a beautiful cake during lunchtime, inviting all children to enjoy a slice and connect with friends. The canteen also joined in the celebration by offering specially crafted cupcakes, helping raise awareness in a sweet and meaningful way.

Set by the World Federation for Mental Health, the theme for this year was “Overwhelm: When global events and relentless bad news become too much.” It focused on the mental health impact of constant exposure to distressing news, crises, and conflicts around the world.

In today’s climate, even if we’re not directly affected by global events, the sheer volume of troubling news can feel heavy. It’s important to remember: it’s okay to ask for help—no matter what you or someone else may be going through.

While we may not be able to change everything happening globally, we can take steps to protect our mental wellbeing and support those around us. Whether it’s talking to someone, taking a break from the news, or simply being kind to ourselves, small actions can make a big difference.

Let’s continue to foster a community where mental health is valued, conversations are encouraged, and no one feels alone.
