We had a fantastic time celebrating National Sports Week 2025, and the theme could not have been more inspiring: “Play for Fun, Play for 60!” This message encouraged children to enjoy physical activity while aiming for 60 minutes of movement each day — a vital step toward healthier, happier lives.
At our school, students wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of the week by participating in a wide range of fun and energetic sporting activities.
The essence of National Sports Week lay in promoting the importance of physical activity. It wasn’t just about competition or athleticism — it was about mental well-being, physical health, and social connection. Through sport, children developed essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and confidence. They also improved their gross motor skills and built positive relationships with their peers.
Whether it was the thrill of scoring a goal, the laughter shared during a game of football, or the joy of learning a new skill, every moment spent being active contributed to a student’s overall development.
